Review - One Punch Man: "The Ultimate Master"

In this week's episode of One Punch Man, Saitama and Genos join the hero association!
"The Ultimate Master" is a another great episode of One Punch Man, having a lot packed in to one episode.

The first half of the episode focuses on Saitama and Genos joining the hero association, to become a hero you need to pass a physical and written test, Saitama absolutely crushes the physical tests obviously but doesn't do well at all in the written test while Genos excels in both, meaning that Genos becomes an S rank hero while Saitama is the lowest rank of C, which is hilarious, especially his reaction to it, the interesting thing is that the hero association is extremely fascinated with Genos after he burnt down the House of Evolution laboratory. I'm not too sure why they find what Genos did so fascinating, hopefully we'll find out more.
Saitama and Genos have a initiation seminar with a rank A hero Sneck, who is another incredibly silly character who acts like a snake, he tries to fight Saitama because he thinks that he'll be able to beat him, but no surprise Saitama kicks his ass!

The second half of the episode mostly focuses on Saitama and Genos having a sparring match, Genos wants them both to go all at it to truly test their powers, Saitama doesn't take it seriously at first with Genos trying his hardest and not even being able to get a scratch on Saitama, but when Saitama finally shows his power Genos realises he has no chance at all, Saitama punches the air in front of Genos and a ridiculous gust of wind hits Genos and destroys everything around him. This is another scene when i praise the animation, the animation looked incredible especially when Saitama was dodging all of Genos' attacks.

The episode ends after Saitama and Genos' meal gets interrupted by the top Rank A hero, Amai Mask who comes to welcome Genos into the organisation, Amai Mask comes across as rather menacing and mysterious, i'm thinking he may turn out to be an antagonist down the line.
"The Ultimate Master" is another great episode, once again balancing the humour and action and introducing us into the Hero association which has a lot of story potential.

8.5/10
